Fishing guide in Alingsås, Sweden
Welcome to Fishing Lake Mjörn! I have worked as a fishing guide since 2018, mainly on lake Mjörn, Anten and Sävelången in the municipality of Alingsås, 50 kilometers east of Gothenburg. Anyone can book a guided tour. Beginners, hobby anglers or professionals. Families with children are also welcome aboard. My customers primarily choose to fish for pike, zander or perch and I bring all the necessary equipment. The day is customized to fit your level of experience and ambition. In addition, I have partners with whom I offer larger guide packages to companies.
We have fantastic zander fishing in Mjörn and a chance of very large pike or zander in lake Anten, a 30 – 40 minute drive from Gothenburg. In the smaller lakes around Alingsås, which we can get to with my Grizzly 1654 T Sportsman, there is a chance to catch a 2 kilo perch. Popular methods are ordinary spin fishing, trolling and vertical fishing. For more advanced fishing in search of really big zander, I offer precision casting with Active Target.
The two primary bookable packages are both 7 hour trips. The difference is which boat I use. Max number of people besides me is four in my Tracker Targa V-18 and two in the Grizzly 1654 T Sportsman. Expertise
I am an all-round fisherman with extensive knowledge in most areas. Fishing for me is about the challenge and I like to vary my fishing and never get stuck in one method, one species or one water.
As a trained biologist and writer for Swedens largest fishing magazine, I dare to say that I have a wide range of knowledge in everything from fish behavior patterns to specially adapted techniques. I have written articles about trolling, float trolling, bottom bouncing, spin fishing, angling, equipment, rigs and techniques, among other things.
Equipment
The boats I use are a 2021 Tracker Targa V-18 with 150 hp Mercury Pro XS suitable for four people but CE marked for six, and a Grizzly 1654 T Sportsman with 40 hp Mercury suitable for three people. I use the latest technology and both boats are equipped with a trolling motor, sonar and Active Target.
Rods and lures are available for almost all methods. You can either borrow equipment from me, or use your own, and only need to bring food, drink and clothing for the weather. There are also life jackets and extra clothes for the cold seasons if needed.
